Last week during Anime Expo, NIS America revealed two new Vita games: Criminal Girls: Invite Only and htol#NiQ: The Firefly Diary.
Criminal Girls: Invite Only is an enhanced version of the risque PSP RPG where you lead a band of young, female criminals. This game features a "punishment" mini-game where players use the touch screen and back touch pad to "encourage" the team. Here's a trailer to hold you over until the game's 2015 release.
htol#NiQ: The Firefly Diary might have the most awkward title ever, but in action is about as cute as can be. This unique platformer has two fireflies attempting to help a young girl named Mion escape an ancient labyrinth. Players must shift between light and dark to help her break free. htol#NiQ will be available on PSN later this year.
Along with thoese two new titles, NIS America already has three other Vita games coming out soon.
Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair releasing on Sept. 2, 2014 with a special edition that is apparently no longer available.
Natural Doctrine is coming out on Sept. 16, 2014 with a limited edition that hopefully you were already able to pre-order, because it's out of stock, too.
And finally, Disgaea 4: A Promise Revisited is releasing on Aug. 12, 2014. And unlike the others, this one has a limited edition that's actually still available to pre-order.
All in all, NIS America is supporting the Vita with full force. I, for one, am very thankful for this.
